How are stretch marks formed and how is it best to get rid of them?

Along with cellulite, stretch marks are one of the most frequent cosmetic problems that women face with the arrival of the bathing suit season. In the vast majority of cases, ugly red eyelids occur during pregnancy on the abdomen, but they can also appear under other circumstances and on other parts of the body. Is it possible to prevent their formation?
What are stretch marks and how are they formed?
Stretch marks, Czech pajizévky, occur due to excessive load on collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. Stretch marks are actually a kind of scars – experts call them atrophic scars with thinned epidermis and loss of collagen. Elastin and collagen fibers usually stretch and contract again if necessary. However, if the skin is subjected to more tension for a short time, it may not shrink as usual. Small cracks and stretch marks appear on the affected areas . Stretch marks initially have a color from red to purple, but over time, after about two years, they gradually disappear. The skin in the stretch area may be lumpy and feel hollow when touched. Stretch marks most often appear on the abdomen (especially in pregnant women), on the chest, thighs, buttocks, thighs or back.

Striae

Stretch marks are found in pregnant women, as well as in athletes.
Stretch marks are most often a female problem, but they can also occur in men. There are a number of risk factors that can contribute to the appearance of stretch marks. Their common denominator is usually a sudden increase in the volume of a certain part of the body, which exposes the skin to excessive tension. This is especially true during pregnancy, when stretch marks appear on the abdomen and chest. In addition, stretch marks can occur, for example, during periods of rapid growth during puberty and often also in overweight people (especially those who gain weight quickly) or in athletes as a side effect of rapid muscle growth.

The development of stretch marks can also be influenced by other factors, such as hormonal changes, genetic predisposition or soft and fair skin. If one of your relatives has stretch marks, then perhaps you are inclined to develop them. For example, corticosteroids also increase the risk of stretch marks that weaken elastin fibers.

Is it possible to prevent the appearance of stretch marks?
Prevention of stretch marks is important, because if they do occur, treatment may not be completely successful – although, of course, their appearance can be significantly improved. Prevention should be taken care of, especially pregnant women, and the skin of the abdomen and chest should be regularly cared for.

Lubricate and massage
To reduce the risk of stretch marks, the main measure is to thoroughly and regularly lubricate the skin with emollient and emollient creams and lotions. All these products restore, soften and moisturize the skin. Examples of active ingredients commonly found in anti-stretch marks are, for example, moisturizing hyaluronic acid, elastin and collagen, vitamin A (retinol), vitamin E or allantoin or D-panthenol.

In addition, natural oils (coconut, olive, almond, jojoba, cocoa, etc.) are used for regular massage of the skin at risk of stretch marks. We should also not forget about the extract of the plant with the distinctive name “Asian Umbilical cord”. All these active ingredients help prevent skin damage from stress. Sometimes fat is recommended to prevent stretch marks.
